Beehive has been a fixture in the Utah community for more than 50 years. The Board of Directors and management team appreciate the support of our community and acknowledge the importance of giving back to the communities we serve. We support many worthy causes including the following.
The Granite Education Foundation’s Invest In Futures Adopt-A-School Program
We are proud to partner with Gourley Elementary School. Enrollment at Gourley is approximately 680 students. The major goal of Gourley Elementary is to prepare students to become responsible citizens and take their places as productive members of the community. The school mission statement concludes that “Education is a cooperative effort among home, school and community.” Beehive is pleased to help in Gourley's education efforts through the donation of books and Employee volunteer time.
Utah Jump$tart Coalition
The Jump$tart Coalition works to provide high-quality personal finance information to Utah’s youth. Beehive is a Bronze Level Sponsor of this program, working to help increase financial literacy in our community where more levels are very high. With programs like the Utah Jump$tart Coalition, Beehive hopes to help make a better Utah.
Utah Saves
Utah Saves is a United Ways of Utah Initiative that encourages and assists individuals to save and build wealth. Beehive is happy to include our Smart Save Account as a product that Utah Saves recommends to its Savers.
The Christmas Box House 
Each year Beehive shares proceeds from our Holiday Skip-A-Payment Drive with The Christmas Box House. A place for abused and neglected children, The Christmas Box House provides mental, emotional, and physical care in a home-like loving environment. They also provide training and support for foster parents. With locations in Salt Lake, Ogden and Moab, The Christmas Box House works to provide support services for strengthening and preserving family living in our community.
United Way, Salt Lake City, Utah County and Dixie
Beehive is happy to make donations to The United Way Chapters near all of our branches. With donations made to the Salt Lake, Utah County and Dixie Chapters, we hope help The United Way’s mission to increase self-sufficiency, strengthen families, promote health and independence and encourage citizen involvement in our communities.
